Our Story

The Arabella Story

When local owner and chef, Mike Santacrose and his wife Kimberly saw a need in their new hometown of Hendersonville, North Carolina for a downtown breakfast and brunch location, they also saw the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. Both Mike and Kimberly grew up in large families where connecting and celebrating over food was central to their lives.

Great first experience, nice to have a little twist on the traditional breakfast options. Great service and the food was amazing, we will be back for sure!”

Where Guests Feel At Home

Creating this gathering space, where their guests feel at home, the food is steeped in quality and homemade goodness, and where customer service is reminiscent of a day gone by, was the natural outcome of the people they are, and the values they cherish. For both Mike and Kimberly, stepping through the doors of Arabella, needed to feel like sitting around their family table. A place where they are seen and heard, stories are told, and memories made.

Mike and Kimberly and their three children, Dominic, Arabella and Maclan are proud to call Hendersonville home. Their passion for food, combines beautifully with their commitment and deep ties to community and a desire to pour into and develop people. They are intentional about closing the restaurant in the early afternoon, so their employees could be home with their own families for dinner.

Arabella is a place where families and friends can gather, couples can reconnect, or an individual can sit and sip a cappuccino, a local craft brew or hand crafted cocktail. Locally sourced, always fresh, and always homemade, the menu was born out of years of Mike’s work in the food industry and in collaboration with other locally talented chefs. Since its establishment, Arabella has become a beloved fixture in downtown Hendersonville’s, quaint, Historic Main St., district.
